A 1990 New Year’s live broadcast—a stage for a brutal "digital lynching" engineered by Kujo, a hacker from the future, to erase one man from existence. "Samurai Hayato," an AI generated solely to be humiliated, senses the malice and awakens, rejecting Kujo's prompts.
